I work to commission, and each item is designed and built from scratch, so every client buys a one-off piece, which is specifically tailored to their needs and desires.
If you’re interested in commissioning a piece of furniture, I’ll begin by visiting you at home to discuss your ideas and see where the piece would sit. I then send you a design drawing and an estimate of cost. If you decide to go ahead, and when you are completely happy with the design, I will take a deposit before starting work, with the balance due on completion.
I do all the construction in my workshop and, if the piece needs to be fitted, this is normally done within a day. You are welcome to come and see the work in progress.
